Oscar Dennis

Kenya 7s

You promised he had it, and you delivered him to the international stage when you were comfortable. I cannot thank you and the Academy enough for seeing this and for getting him on a team - Sam Dennis, mother of Oscar Dennis.

NAV Sevens

You only miss the opportunities you don’t take… I would describe my experience at SAS 7s as one of the most challenging experiences I have faced as a player. There was a constant demand of high standards that allowed me to grow to a completely new person.

SASRII was an amazing experience. The Facilities and coaching is world class. Gives you an insight as to what it is like to be a professional athlete, would recommend it to any young player who is looking to pursue a career in rugby.

A brilliant insight into professional rugby and a very enjoyable experience.

SAS Rugby has given me an insight into what a professional environment is like and made me realise how badly I want to pursue rugby as a career. The coaches are top class and individualise your programmes to try and enable you to be the best you can be which personally has helped me very much. Finally, the SASRII team is nothing like I've ever experienced before as a group of players from all over the world are put together. It's amazing how quickly we have all bonded, knowing I will have friends for life all over the world is pretty cool.

My experience at SAS has been excellent. The atmosphere, level of coaching and the whole environment has been very professional. The coaches along with the facilities helps you to train at the optimal professional level. I would recommend the SASRII programme to any international player to develop their game and personal goals to pursue their rugby career.

Coming into the SASRII high performance program I was expecting a professional environment and that's exactly what it was! The level of coaching at SAS is world class where the coaches are very hands on and professional. While coaching a whole squad they can easily pick out your weakness and help you focus on improving your weak points to make you a better all round player. The coaches take time to show you through video clips both of professional rugby as well as yourself in order to improve. Living at SAS is very enjoyable and the food is world class. I would recommend SAS to anyone who is willing to put in the work and we wants to take their rugby to the next level!
